	The staff at Pawling High School continues to work to improve communication between the home and the school.  As a result, time will be set aside for parents who would like to schedule an appointment with any of your child’s teachers. The times and dates for these appointments are listed below:	
		Tuesday, November 14, 2006			12 Noon – 2:30 PM	
		Thursday, November 16, 2006			7:00 - 9:00 PM
		Friday, November 17, 2006			12 Noon – 2:30 PM
	To schedule an appointment, please call the Guidance Office at 855-4615.  
	In addition, parent/teacher conferences are available throughout the school year by request.  Arrangements for these meetings are also done through guidance.

                         CLASS OF 2007 GRADUATION

             Graduation for the Class of 2007 will be held Friday, June 22, 2007.  Details concerning time and location will be announced in the November newsletter.  Please remember that Senior Dues, $95 payable to PHS Class of 2007, are due by November 30, 2006.

 

FALL SPORTS BANQUET

             The Fall Sports Banquet, sponsored by the Pawling Tiger Athletics Club, is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 7:00 PM in the Dining Hall at the Trinity Pawling School. 

                       COLLEGE APPLICATION DEADLINE

The College Application Deadline for processing applications before the Holiday Recess is December 6th.

MUSIC NEWS

             There are still openings in Senior Chorus this quarter.  Senior Chorus meets every other day for .5 credit.  Students will be performing two concerts here at the school, one on December 14th and the other on May 23rd  at the Evening for the Arts.  They will also be performing at the Tishman Spyer Building (formerly the Metropolitan Life Building) in New York City on December 7th, at 12:00 noon.  Those students interested in joining the chorus, please see your guidance counselor or Mrs. Olsen. 

HIGH SCHOOL VISITOR SIGN IN

             In a continuing effort to maintain a safe environment at the High School, parents are reminded that all doors into the building are locked once the school day begins, except the canopy entrance near the main lobby/ auditorium/ cafeteria.  Please use the this entrance and remember that you must sign in at the Main Office and wear a visitor’s pass while you are in the building.  Please sign out and return your pass in the Main Office when you are leaving.
