Dear Parent or Guardian, The graduation ceremony for the Class of 2006 will take place on Friday, June 23, 2006, at 6:30 PM at Lakeside Park. The program should conclude by 7:45 PM. The rehearsal for the graduation ceremony will take place on Thursday, June 22, at 11:30 AM at Lakeside Park. It is essential that each senior attend the rehearsal. The rehearsal will be followed by a picture session including the entire senior class. Light refreshments will be served. Seniors will be dismissed at about 1:00 PM. I look forward to seeing you at graduation on Friday, June 23, 2006. For the vast majority of the eight hundred plus people who will be in attendance, they expect to see a dignified ceremony. In order for this to happen, there are two simple expectations that must be met. All students must wear shoes. Boots and sneakers will not be allowed to be worn. Girls may wear dress sandals, boys may not. Pranks on the stage, such as shooting water guns or blowing bubbles will not be tolerated. Students engaging in such acts will be asked to leave the ceremony. Please discuss these expectations with your child. Graduation evening promises to be a special time for the seniors and staff of Pawling High School. Sincerely, Frank Tolan, Principal Pawling High School Principal |
